Medco Reversing and Reprocessing Scrips for "Incorrect Days Supply"

We have had a pharmacist inform us that Medco reversed and
reprocessed a scrip from March 2009. This event only appeared on the
ERA report. The pharmacist was told by Medco's help desk to use the
incorrect days supply to override a reject. Since this was an
incorrect days supply, Medco informed the pharmacist that the payment
could be taken back. The only option Medco gave the patient was to pay
out of pocket.
