We have added new ways of searching for patients and doctors in the Fill Screen and Edit Screen. Here is a list of all the ways to search for each with the new features in bold.

Patient

• Name - "Last,First" or ",First" to search patients by first name only


• Phone - /xxx xxx xxxx This searches phone numbers exactly how you have them in the patient file. For example, to search all patients in the 423 area code, you would type in "/423"


• DOB - .mmddyy Use ? as a wildcard. To search everyone born in February you would enter ".02????". To find everyone born on March 1st you would enter ".0301??"


• Patient ID - I/xxxxxxxx This is searching line 4 of your patient file.

Doctor

• Name - "Last,First" or ",First" to search doctors by first name only


• DEA - /aaxxxxxxx Searches the doctor's DEA# field.


• Surescripts# - S/xxxxxxxxx Searches for the doctor using their SureScripts Number


• NPI - N/xxxxxxxx Searches doctors by their NPI #


• Phone - P/xxx xxx xxxx Searches doctors by their phone number exactly the way it is entered in your system.
