Wholesalers have started tracking controlled drug purchases from every pharmacy. What they are doing is looking for extreme changes in purchasing patterns for each controlled drug. For example, if you are consistently purchasing two bottles of a controlled drug per month and then a few months later you order eight, they are not going to ship all of the bottles to you and more than likely will call and request a report from you for your controlled sales. To get this report, do the following:

1. Go to Pharmacy Main Menu


2. Press the F7 key to take you to Print Selected Rx's by Customer


3. Choose 10. Format to use


4. Look for the format named Rx's by Drug, Wholesaler DEA Rpt and choose that number


5. Set your date range that the wholesaler wants in lines 5 & 6


6. Type P to print the report

This report has been sufficient most of the time. If you need any changes to it, please give us a call and let us know what changes the wholesaler has requested.
